The Mission

Welcome to the beginning, this is where and how it all started. I hope your journey is as immersive as it were for me!

I had the idea when one day I was standing in my kitchen, looking out to my back garden. In the distance there is a school, and I wondered what would happen if something landed there from space - In real-life that would be a dream come true. I'm a whole lot of geek! When I was younger, my dad would tell the tale of his UFO encounter. Then when I would have been around ten or eleven I had my own. Myself and a friend saw an unexplained craft in the sky near to where I lived in Walsall. So I started to write a tale about two spheres, I imagined them arriving into the Earths atmosphere and dropping in a straight line along the surface from the UK, and then over to Canada. So one lands in the middle of the UK - in my neck of the woods, and the other lands in Selkirk, Mb, Canada. When they land, to enable interactions with a person of their choosing, they release a field which pauses time for twenty miles in all directions. The spheres are then touched by a young man, and young woman, who are just going about their everyday lives. Little did they know, they have been personally selected by the spheres. When they touch them, they are propelled into another civilization that resides inside the dark space beyond a black hole. Why them? Why have they been taken from their home? Will they be allowed home again? And what is happening down on the Earth following the aftermath of the landings?
